Lord Harris 1494 Ark and Mark
have a busy day

Lord Harris 1494 Ark and Mark Have a Busy DayThe meeting of 14 February 2014 saw Bro David Stadler Elevated into the Royal Ark Mariner Degree in Lord Harris Ark Lodge. This was just the beginning of a very busy day for the Ark and Mark Lodges. The Ceremony of Elevation was conducted in an excellent manner by WBro Stephen Dunsdon, Worshipful Commander for the year. The picture reflects the good time had by all at the meeting and from left to right shows: RW Bro Archie Torrance, PGM, WBro Steve Dunsdon, Bro Dave Stadler, WBro David Green, DPGM.

The Mark Lodge continued the busy theme. It is always most enjoyable and rewarding to see a Candidate Advanced into the Degree. How much better it was on this occasion to welcome two new Brothers, Jason Pearson and Sammy Harman, to the Lodge and Order! Both had waited a little while for their Lord Harris 1494 Ark and Mark Have a Busy Dayopportunity to Join Lord Harris Mark and the smiles on the faces in the picture show how much the event was enjoyed by everyone involved after an excellent ceremony carried out by the Worshipful master, WBro Micky Lane.

The Lodge was also fortunate enough to receive an unofficial visit from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro David Green. The picture shows, from left to right, RW Bro Archie Torrance, PGM, Bro Jason Pearson, WBro Micky Lane, Worshipful Master, Bro Sammy Harman and VW Bro David Green, DPGM.

Lord Harris 1494 Ark and Mark Have a Busy DayHaving visited the Lodge, VW Bro David was then put to work by being asked to present a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro Dave Stadler. This was completed with VW Bro David's customary aplomb and all present enjoyed the presentation very much. Bro Dave Stadler can be seen below with the DPGM, proudly displaying his Grand Lodge Certificate.

The alms collection was made by way of gift aid envelopes. After tax has been reclaimed, another £200 will have been donated towards the 2020 Festival. An excellent way to round off so enjoyable a day!
